A Few Questions For You Amfa Boys

Let’s first chat about the “force majeureâ€￾ at Northwest. Unfortunately, good men and women lost their jobs, the problem is that the first one was because of 9-11, some two years ago and AMFA’s crack legal staff has just recently secured dates for it even to be heard.
Hey Jake when is our force majeure case going forward? Remember when the company threw the guys with "P"s on the street? Do we even have a date yet? If we do will that date go by the wayside like all the other dates? Maybe we can make it "Ironclad".

And how about that Jump seat issue? I know Bobby G is working on it. Thats two years now, kind of reminds me of the ATABS, that took how long? Five years?

And what about the contract books?

....I have had enough of this concessions for jobs programs of the TWU. And I will not stop unitl the concessions for jobs peddlers are gone.

and we'll notify you when they are...please leave forwarding address and correct telephone number to receive notification....
Earlier this year, RV4 informed us that he would seek a new career and leave American Airlines. He must be a glutton for punishment because he is still here.
That's right and mojo was an AMFA supporter that attended an AMFA meeting at the Brady Theater, and was even the treasurer of the MCI AMFA Organizing Committee.

Now he has taken an oath to a Communist Witten Constitution and believes a union that just gave up 20 years of pay and benefits is the union that is going to somehow advance his career and profession.

Just goes to show anyone can change their mind. Or that a little extra cash from the Commies will do wonders to a weak soul.

At least you had enough ethics to turn over the AMFA Organizing Funds without stealing the money
Communist Witten Constitution

Was Elmer Fudd a communist???

I have fowarded this and a similar post to to the LOCAL 33, and as soon as I have the whole story all of us will know. NO SPIN.
The AMFA opposition is real good at posting articals " out of context".
If I am in error about any post I make, I will correct or clearify my post.NO SPIN!
Please post Local 33's reply. Information "straight from the horse's mouth" is rare around here.

Very interesting!!!
 B)

Tell me I'm wrong ...that if AMFA would takeover AA that there wouldn't be the same amount of disgruntled employees . And why the H is it always the unions fault? Must the unions always spoon feed and then be bashed for skipping a beat? --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------AMT MCI, When AMFA gets in at AA we will not be spoon fed. That is because AMFA will treat AMTs like skilled, intelligent individuals. Not like blind sheep. It is the unions fault mostly because they, meaning the international, does not look out for the protection and promotion of AMTs. Why must we belong to a union that has bus drivers and casino dealers? No slam towards these professions. I just don't see how they can make AMTs stronger.

That is disappointing. It would have been nice to hear the defendant's ( AMFA National ) and the plaintiff's ( Local 33 ) arguments. Hearing only one side's position doesn't really give anyone a "no spin" picture of the situation.

Ken...I understand what you are saying...and have no problem with an AMT union...but as stated the Government has ruled since they, lower classifications, sign off on work performed on aircraft they are to be considered for membership.

And I also believe, after being in a labor local, the IAM , and now the TWU that if AMFA would evolve into being our next union that you will find the floor wanting another union, maybe IBT, in a short time. Due to a low floor support of unionism, you will not find a strong e-bord or grievance committee anywhere, they are not empowered by their fellow workers, yet expect miracles in decisions that govern their livelihood....go figure.

Without a new breath of unionism in our respective workplaces the company will hold the power....SC

There is a ring of truth to that. Off the top of my head I am guessing about 20% of the membership actually expresses any sort of union mindset. The other 80% are apathetic. The most common line is, "What have they done for me?"

This hasn't been lost on some of the organizers. They are playing up the "A union is a service organisation....." part of the AMFA presentation, apparently in the hopes of swaying the lazy vote. Brilliant marketing on their part.

The Secretary of LOCAL 33 and I agreed that I would contact the AMFA NATIONAL on this issue. Slander and Liable could be involved and I WILL NOT put myself, family or the AMFA drive in that position.
I TOLD YOU "NO SPINâ€￾, When and if I get the appropriate response from the combined Statement of National and Local 33 on this Opinion written several years ago. WE will all know the out come and reason.
I"LL SAY THIS AGAIN, HOLD TIGHT ON THIS ONE.
