Hardly shocking, since the "rising electorate" is comprised of youth, recent college grads, single moms, and minorities. In other words, the fruits of all that "get out the vote" effort which brought us Hope and Change as well as Forward.

The problem with using fear mongering as a tactic to motivate voters is when you bring about a situation worse than what you said the other guys might do.

The groups who comprise the RAE continue to have unemployment rates far higher than the country's average, and are some of the hardest hit by Obamacare in terms of both rates and lack of accessibility and confidence in the health care options they had up until this year.

It may have taken a while to figure out they were lied to in 2008 and 2012, but it does appear those chickens are finally coming home to roost.

Lifes a biitch, 'eh?

As the poll at the top of the thread mentions, a lot of those Hope & Changers and Forwarders have come to the realization quite quickly that they helped cause this.

Many will just sit out the next few election cycles, while others (like the girl in the video) will change sides.

It's normal to become a conservative after figuring out there's a price tag for all those liberal ideas they thought were cool when they were young. Some just figure it out faster than others.

Tick.

Tock.

67% voter turnout would be well above recent norms for the youth vote.
Feel Free to thank Dr Ron Paul for those numbers. He's still packing them in on college campus's around the country.
