Just wanted to remind the folks at A.A. about this one! Isn''t this the same Company we as TWA employees were supposed to get something for when it sold??? Just something else that went away in bankrupcy with the value of our stock!!!! There will be no closer!!!!

Did it(worldspan) belong to the employees?
I never heard that TWA employees were to get something when worldspan sold could you point me to where that is in writing.
Did AA buy TWA which included worldspan? I guess what I''m getting at is ... Didn''t AA buy and own worldspan, and why are you expecting something for AA''s assett sale?
I don''t get it.

TWA brings over $200 Mil to the table, and still no replies!!!! What a bounch of arigant S.O.B.''s!!!!!!There will be no closure!

AA paid $742 million (and assumed lots of debt) for a bundle of assets and now has sold one of them for $180 million and a note. AA didn''t buy TWA''s assets to get its share of Worldspan anyway, so selling it made sense.

Sorry, just venting a little frustration here! World span,( or PARS) was started, and totally owned by TWA! And later parts were sold off to rase capital, and the name changed! TWA''s kept 26%! There was a I.A.M. grivance that was won on "Outsourcing" work done on some 747''s! The Company promised us it would be payed with moneies received from the sale of World span! Well guess what? It never happened!!!!Do''es A.A. owe us that money? I don''t think so!!!!So no, I''m not expecting anything from this sale!That''s where the frustration comes in!

Early on in the TWA/A.A. "buyout", someone made the statement "There are no virgins here at TWA"!!! How True! How True!!!!
