This is just for curiosity sake...

In another discussion, someone was questioning why there were so few responses on a discussion about their contract, which made me wonder.. How many of each workgroup are really represented here?

It's pretty obvious who the active participants are, but I'm sure there are lurkers who don't speak up enough for us to know. If you use multiple forum ID's, please vote only once.

For disclosure, the poll is set to private.

You seem to have all the answers and facts for any kind of situation, so why don't you just give us the breakdown? Are you admitting that you don't know something? This is a significant step in your therapy to rid you of your superiority complex. I am starting to think there is hope for you after all.

you mean for your benefit and the lack of disclosure to everyone else.

Disclosure would be each person deciding to share the level of information they choose, not having someone gain information on a one-sided basis for their use.

Given that your participation on this forum comes w/ a pretty obvious bias to AA mgmt, don't expect a lot of additional information.

It would be interesting if it was truly scientific, but this doesn't pass that test.

Cant be scientific becuase I have changed my vote at least 4 times, and I am currently counted as HDQ Management, with 16-20 years and active.

And I have a way to stop the drought without praying for rain.

ROFL

I'm pretty sure anyone that's on this board knows that these aren't ever scientific. That said, I'm still curious to see a breakdown of who-works-where. There's quite a few regulars, but a lot of traffic...

not only not scientific but I think it is pretty obvious that what is said on most chat forums don't represent the thoughts of the majority of the people in that class... it is simply a fact of human nature that the most vocal in any group do not represent the norms of the group.

Setting to private means NOBODY can see how anyone voted. Not even me.

But, nice try at defamation. Maybe you should be volunteering at the local Obama campaign office? Oh, that's right........ There probably isn't one in your area.

I generally make it a habit not to mix politics with what I do... and since I can access the internet, I could indeed participate in politics if I wanted to.

no, it's not defamation, and I'm sorry if you perceived it that way. Alot of people on the AA forum don't mind using their real names, I would venture to say more so on the AA forum than at any other airline on here.

But w/ the results so far, are you or anyone surprised?

I still don't think there is anything to show that there is a population that is "lurking" which isn't represented by the known participants on this board or that they think differently than the opinions that are presented here.

Until you answer those questions, this survey is just a "nice to know" but not scientific or ground-breaking.

Given that there are enough examples of scientific surveying that have been done in the airline industry, including elections of various types, there is enough data to show that what is said on various forums - regardless of which one - do not reflect the desires of the majority of the people in that group.

Carry on, though.

Whatever, Tim.

It's not a shock that the mechanics are a majority here. Just curious to see how many from the other workgroups are hanging around.

The fact there are 50 active votes is more than I expected.

Why is it OK for you to idientify real names or other details about a member here, but when I worked you over I was banned for two weeks and given warn status?

Got me. Ask the mod who sent you to the cornfield. I found it kinda humorous that you were using really outdated information, but as you admit, you were busy engaging in an ad hominum. Maybe that's what got you banned, not the use of personal details.

Either way, it isn't something I can answer, nor does it have to do with the topic.
