I have noticed that after Delta filed more papers in regards to the Feb. 7 court date on friday. That the stock has declined. Is it in regards to the merger or earnings report?

More frequentely, the acquirer of a company usually has a major stock decline, specifically a hostile takeover where there is a bigger gamble for success for the investors and share holders.

Being that U wants to shell out $10 billion paying about $4 billion more than DL is worth, will drop any stock.

I suspect that the more it appears the deal may go through, the more acute decline in the stock value you will see.

On the other hand, being that oil prices have been droping, I would think that the entire industry has had a bit of a run.

Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that LCC has a P/E ratio of about 130.

Again, " I mean NO disrespect to US employees" !!!!!!!!!!!

With "12" days left to "ZERO HOUR", I'm feeling MORE by the minute, that Gordon Bethune(DL's hired EXPERT)(a staunch consolidationist) will prioritize things(to DL creditors) this way.
1.(If NW is dealing)...Take it.
2. standalone
3. take the US offer.

NH/BB's

Geez! I believe ALL airline stocks have declined in the past few days. A rising tide floats all ships and a falling tide does the opposite.

I am amazed at people who's company is CURRENTLY in bankruptcy can be so arrogant! However, that does fit the well know Delta image.
