What Is Going On With Midatlantic Classes?

Just wondering if anyone knew when the MDA Training classes in June, July, and August will be awarded and posted on the Hub. I know the bid form said it should be awarded promptly after the June 1st deadline. Just seeing if anyone has heard anything about it?

Theres supposed to be one class in June, two in July two in August. It was said on here that 225 signed up for the summer round, but nothing more has been heard. They seem to be taking thier time.

Classes for June are 5th, 12th, 19th, and 26th all have 12 FO slots.

Classes for July and August are also posted. 6 CA and 6 FO in each.

Don't know about FA classes though.

No information on June Classes is avail, all that is listed is bid openings for JULY and the first two weeks of August.

What is shown is that all July classes are for First Officer positions only, to make up for the deficit in the MDA list (right now shows a two to one ratio of Capt. to FO's)

August is listed as 6 Captain spots, in each of the classes, one in each of the fisrt two weeks of AUG.

That might explain your delay, as the bid for the first class in July closes on 20JUN, so the Bid closing and the calling of APL/CEL pilots for the first class with CA slots is a month away.

Other relevant news is that the deliveries have continued at a rate of one aircraft a week.

I'm sorry, I saw the June 1st deadline and assumed Mr Belding was talking about F/A classes.... that was the deadline F/As were given to bid.

Those of us on the APL have not seen these class dates. The last class for pilots I saw posted was for a June 21 class. We usually get about a week or so notice before a class start date. I would assume the dates you posted apply to APL pilots also.
