What is going on here?

Hilariously over dramatic user comment on sfgate.com  (SF Chronicle) from someone claiming to be on the flight: http://blog.sfgate.com/stew/2014/10/13/american-airlines-plane-returns-to-sfo-after-cabin-buckles/

I was on this flight and it was VERY scary. Shortly after takeoff, it sounded like someone was closing the overhead bins, one after another...then people started screaming and I realized the POW POW POW POW POW was the vertical seams cracking one!!! The picture doesn't really do it justice because on the port side of the plane, about rows 13/14, you could see daylight and feel air coming through the crack... so it went all the way to the outside. We all had to pitch a major fit to get the flight attendants to get the captain to come look for himself. My voice is nearly gone from screaming at them. We all knew it was unsafe to climb any higher, but the crew seemed unwilling to go get the captain. Big mistake. Happy to be alive. « l

The rest of the comments are worth a look, mostly bad jokes about poor airline service.

Wouldn't it be interesting to find that this is one of the acft sent to Timco?  I wonder if we'll ever find out?
