What happened with AA ICN-DFW?

why was the crew not aware of the weather system and why were the FAs allowed to be serving?

trust that all recover.... news reports say that several FAs were injured.

I have flown thru severe turbulence in that same area more than once.

I'm just curious how other airlines managed to avoid that area of turbulence.

AA has contract meteorologists or its own in-house staff?

and maybe the turbulence all just came up with no warning but since there was severe weather in the area, it is hard to believe the pilots didn't know about it... even if they didn't understand the magnitude of it.
