Well, true to the answers given on a previous post (ZMAN777 I believe was the one who so advised), United is indeed mixing their aircraft to London over the next few months. The travel department advises that a 777 will still fly daily to London. but an earlier flight will now be flown by a 747. It seems that the 767 is still in harness on the morning flight up until at least next summer. Does this represent a static "seats available" number or is this merely the beggining of the shuffle?
Either way, it is oddly reassuring to see that United will keep the 747 in service if for no other reason that it lends the impression that United will not altogether cede the long-haul market.
