Virgin Asset Buy In Question?

It is being reported that Branson may have settled on buying planes from Airbus rather than Boeing for the VirginUSA start. Doesn't mean that he isn't interested in any of our assets, but it looks less likely those assets will include planes (and employees).

Of course, that hardly precludes VirginUSA from also acquiring used A320s as well. It all depends on the prices. But it strongly suggests they'd be uninterested in any 737s.

True, but we only own 11 A320's. The rest are leased though I guess the leases could be sold but would probably realize less income from them.

Branson has yet to file a business proposal with federal regulators, and some observers believe this will not happen until after the presidential election in November.


Thats when things are going to start jumping .....
