Pretty reliable sources say a 1 March 2005 start date for new Miami-Valencia, Venezuela service, 5w with a 738 at first. Anybody know more?
AA first planned to launch MIA-VLN on 1 November 2002, but was canceled after the Venezuelan economy crisis. The time is now ripe again to start this service. It would not surprise me to see it happen, but this route has been talked about so long (like how MIA-LAS had been), that I can't believe it until the first flight takes off.
