Last Wed, my family and I flew LGA-CLT on our way to Asheville, returning Monday night CLT-LGA. I just wanted to thank the crews of those flights--you know who you are :) On both flights I wound up flying with crew members with whom I had flown before, and they all went out of their way to make sure my wife and daughter were well taken care of--and for that I would just like to say thanks--you guys and gals are still the best.

We even got our luggage both ways!!!! Maybe that's because we didn't go through Philly :)

Anyway--thanks y'all...and by the way Asheville was Great!

My BEST to you all--off I go on another trip in the morning.

Glad you enjoyed AVL.

Next time, drinks are on me (assuming I'm not off enjoying another RJ to nowhere :D ).

I went PIT/CLT Monday, and although I didn't get the upgrade, had a great flight and friendly crew (not sure where they were based). Baggage was there in 10 minutes (shocked).

Today did CLT/PIT.....all was well until push back, started to rain, thunder and lightening by the time we got to the runway. They stopped all flights and sat for 2 1/2 hours before finally leaving. CLT based crew was awesome. I switched at the airport to an earlier flight, so got the last seat on the plane (center....what the hell, only a 57 minute flight :) ). Did full service on the ground (FC and Coach), plus 2 separate runs with water and coke. Saw the snack basket going around up front.

One F/A was awesome, and walked away with 2 A&B's from my seatmate and I. In spite of it being a horrible day (4 hours on that plane in a center seat), the crew kept everyone calm and nobody got out of hand. Very professional and extreme customer service.....that's the old US that's kept me flying with them. Oh and BTW-got to PIT, had bags and on the parking shuttle in 15 minutes (another shock!).

Just had to add my experience today to this thread - US crews are definitely the best. Two great FAs made my West Coast OAK-PHX-SLC hops a pleasure and a half - always keeping the glass full and the snack basket handy. Upon arrival in SLC I wanted to cruise around the terminal a bit (hadn't flown in there before) so I spent 15 minutes wandering the place. I walked out to the baggage claim, and my luggage was at the BSO, tagged, manifested and waiting for me, thanks to a friendly baggage rep.

The superb service by USAir employees, both East and West, inflight, ground, res, whatever, is what's saving this airline. Thank you, to all of you.

So Travis it sounds like they have in fact added the FC Snack Basket to the West F/C product ?

Thanks
