It's a fact Pittsburgh businesses after reading this Bronner/boner statement are now booking on any other possible airline with the thinking being U will not be here and they don't want to be stuck. I am sure other business locations that U serves are doing the same thing, how can you blame them!

This is like throwing water on the downhill the ice track so the sled going downhill at an already high speed will reach warp speed right into oblivion.

IRS should look closely at these statements if they are concidering letting them extend the payments....make 'em pay now.
anyone got an in to the IRS should make them look into his statments...
son of a gun...and i was going to cash in my stocks today??

DellDude,

It's certainly not my place to tell any other group what to do, but as I mentioned to PitBull in another thread there is some merit in having a pension plan as well funded as possible in looking at potential bankruptcy.

If the plan is terminated, the funding level will determine if anyone gets more than the PBGC guarantee.

YES, that makes perfect sense. At this point that would be the most important grab since all else will be lost to the big boys. These people are ruthless to the core thinking otherwise will hurt you bad.

Stock is gonna go down the sewer today. Good Ole Doc just tanked his own investment.

The little boy who cried ...Wolfe

It's so tiring...I'm going out to cut my lawns..

Looking forward to my discounts at HOME DEPOT.

Every time Bronner opens his mouth, the stock goes down. How can he be so successful at RSA?? Maybe he is an idiot savant or something?

On the subject of deadlines, the company wants ALPA's "negotiations" concluded by August 20 with membership ratification no later than September 8.

As more and more information and "QUOTES" surface....I believe they are going to CHAPTER 7 the whole thing. They are NOT negotiating in good faith and asking for the impossible. I think the plan right now is to make it look like they tried and then send the whole thing down the toilet.

I think you've got it...

I'm off to Home Depot...possibly my new employer. They want AARP people, you know ...steady, experienced, and no nose rings.

You sure called this one right. Too good a quote in fact to be buried a dozen threads or more down the page, so I figured I'd bring your quote back out into daylight.

From my friend the "Phanton Phan"

this wouldn't be the first time a company's upper management engineered its stock up or down.

This person is strongly hinting that there may be and has been, in the past, corporate stock manipulation (within CCY). That is illegal. Perhaps you should back off a bit with the quotes from private correspondence. There may come a time when you'll be asked to ante up information and you may not enjoy the consequences nor will your "Phan".

Ooooh. Looks like somebody touched a nerve. Everybody is entitled to an opinion, and last time I checked the republicans haven't taken away the right to free speech (yet).
