US Airways Reports March Traffic Results

Just because LF and RPM are up across the Atlantic doesn't necessarily mean you're making money on those flights. The missing links here are RASM and CASM. Up or down year-over-year? Fuel prices in 2010 are up from 2009, which has upward pressure on CASM. Any idea what Atlantic RASM is, and how it compares to last year?

Don't have specific numbers, but in March the IATA said:

“We are seeing a definite two-speed industry. Asia and Latin America are driving the recovery. The weakest international markets are North Atlantic and intra-Europe which have continuously contracted since mid-2008,” said Giovanni Bisignani, IATA’s Director General and CEO.

Canada has been included in domestic numbers for a very long time for a number of historical reasons. The categories aren't meant to be taken entirely literally.

Canada is a domestic route?

Don't tell the Canadians.
During one of the secession movements the Quebecois discussed joining the US as a state. That was before they realized their shenanigans wouldn't be tolerated down here.
