US AIRWAYS FLL-CLT removed female Passenger

The South Florida clientele (FLL, MIA, PBI) are the most entitled and vile passengers of any market we serve. I would not shed a tear if a Category 5 hurricane took out the entire region.

Thats real nice, I guess everyone who isnt like that you want to suffer also, and do you know if she is from South Florida?

IN NYC they wouldn't of put up with that 4 minute Rant,
BOS either, the big Statie's would of collared her and dragged her off.
what an embarassment that was for law enforcement.

Just when you think passenger behavior could not possibly get anymore bizarre, someone comes along and tops the last loon. I would not be surprised if she was a non-rev.

Well, for anyone that is not a F/A... this sort of thing (unruly passengers) happens more often than you think. It's just that most F/A's will actually walk away and pretend that they didn't see that passenger on a cell phone, or with an extra bag, or commiting any other violation of a rule, as the flight attendant most likely will not be backed up by management. Well, at least in PHX it is that way....

Well, then you'll feel right at home should any of the DFW Flight Service management survive the cut. No matter what the situation (including the one above), their first question every time will be "What could you have done differently so that this passenger wouldn't have to be arrested? What could you have done better?"

The passenger is never at fault with them. The flight attendant should have handled it better. With AA management as soon as the screaming woman above got out of jail, they would be waiting in the parking lot with a certificate for (at least) 25,000 AAdvantage miles in the hope that the woman would not hold her arrest against AA and continue to fly on us. The passengers are very aware that AA rewards bad behavior.

Wow.... sorry to hear that about AA, but I had a feeling that it slowly has become an industry-wide thing.... I could swear though that there was a time that it wasn't like that... and my overall consensus is that F/A's are less prone to that "management is out to get you" work environment in east bases, whether AA, US, CO or UA...

There were a number of times that I JS on AA and I saw some pretty brutal stuff coming from F/As towards the passengers. That was the Miami base though.... East mentality, I guess, is completely different, management doesn't seem to nit-pick on little stuff... but I could be wrong. Maybe we were in the midst of a whole management-(union) employee relationship change.

I always wondered, considering that so many more F/As get fired in PHX, compared to all other bases at the east together...
