http://elliott.org/blog/ Christopher Elliott is a columnist for USA TODAY, MSN, and National Geographic Traveler. Don't be surprised if this little expose gets in one of those publications. What will the Crystal Palace spin this time.

If this guy knew anything about travel, he might be dangerous. For his little input about this probably being dangerous, it shows his total ignorance about commercial aircraft. What a freaking moron. Embarrassing yes, dangerous, no.

Be careful what you wish for. While this pic makes for good criticism on this board, the last thing you want is a wider public audience seeing pics like this. You guys need all the passengers you can get!

Yawn.....I actually kinda like looking at the inner workings.

Perhaps they could remove the metal shrouds off the engines and use plexiglass instead.

This is no big deal folks. The panel above the entry doors can be removed when it is broken. This is a bifold door that retracts when the door is opened.I suspect that it was removed to allow the a/c to make departure. This panel was a problem when the a/c were fairly new.
