US Air to halt maintenance work, appeal court order

CHICAGO, Oct 21 (Reuters) - US Airways said on Tuesday it would halt maintenance on two Airbus planes and appeal a court order filed by one of its unions preventing it from outsourcing the work.
The carrier said it would appeal an injuntion granted to the International Association of Machinists that prevents the company from subcontracting the heavy maintenance work to ST Mobile Aerospace Engineering Inc., based in Mobile, Alabama.
