And now United chimes in following AA's lead.
Something better happen this week or Pelosi and her Dems are history. If she continues to refuse to move all the while the republicans have moved at least twice to come to a deal, it will all fall on her bloody hands for the job losses and unemployment numbers skyrocketing.
Oct 1st will be a very sad day if Pelosi and her crew does not move towards a deal this week, and she and they will be remembered forever for the 100,000 of peoples lives getting destroyed, turn upside down, and all the job losses---NOT PRES. TRUMP---who is in full support of the airline payroll support program!!!

The Dems have had a bill on the desk for weeks now. The GOP has sat on their hands (aside from offering up a "skinny" bill, which was doomed from the get go).

Blaming Pelosi & co. is kind of like when you file a grievance, the company slow walks it, and you blame your union for the inaction. They know exactly what they're doing, and so too do Conservatives. This is a play for votes, and your career is cannon fodder.

Kev, how can you say its a play for votes?

The vast majority of the country doesn't care that much about airline workers. Nor should they after years of price gouging, lost bags, bad food and surly prison guards providing the on board service...

Oh Yeah? What's your point? And I only worked at the prison for 6 measly months.

Easy. It gets strung out 'til the 11th hour, then the GOP rides in and acts like they've saved blue collar America from the "socialist Dems."

The GOP are masters at messaging. Any relief will be framed as saving American working class jobs, right down to the shot of a bald eagle and a slow waving flag in the background.
