UK Afghan forces in daring rescue bid (NDTV)

British marines in Afghanistan have made a daring but unsuccessful effort to rescue a fallen comrade. Marines strapped themselves to the side wings of two Apache helicopters while the choppers were crammed with equipment and flew into hostile territory.
