In Regards to the UAL Retiree Issue.
First of all, AMFA did not have a ‘legal’ obligation to assist our Retirees on this issue.<PERIOD!!!>
The IAM has represented 99.99% of the current Mechanic and Related Retirees through most (if not all) of their career and one would expect that the IAM would have taken this opportunity to expend manpower and resources in an attempt to represent their retired and loyal dues paying members (some with 40+ years).

So, did the IAM step up to the plate?
NO!!!
AMFA did!!!
AMFA also tried to join in the ‘UAL Retiree Coalition’ but was shut out.
I am ‘PROUD†that AMFA has stepped in to help our Retirees.
(But of course you already knew that.)
