The most sensitive parts of the 93-page Standard Operation Procedures were apparently redacted in a way that computer savvy individuals easily overcame.

The document shows sample CIA, Congressional and law enforcement credentials which experts say would make it easy for terrorists to duplicate.

I was under the impression that TSA handles security access for the terminal and local PD's handle out side the secured terminal. Given the reputation hat TSA has and the inefficient manner in which they do their job (when compared to other countries) I tend to agree with Sparrow. Using TSA and security in the same sentence does seem a bit ... odd .... to put it kindly.

Released December 8, 2009
Summary
US Transportation Security Administration unredacted manual for flight and other screening procedures. This TSA manual was released by the TSA in an incompetantly redacted form—cut and paste the blacked out regions revealed the redacted text. The previously redacted regions were highlighed and sent to the New York based anti-secrecy site Cryptome.org. The TSA removed the manual from public access on December 7, 2009.
