I know there's a lot of excitement (negative and positive) about the TA.... Putting the former moderaator hat on for just a moment, can I suggest you guys try to limit the number of active threads discussing the TA???
Right now, there are five:
1) The two-year old "TWU Negotiations....what?"...
2) "The Latest offer.... :down: " (don't include smileys in topic names...)
3) "WHAT A BARGAIN CONTRACT FOR THE COMPANY" (in all caps no less... reminds me of Bears...)
4) Poll "Yea or Nay" (reasonable, since it's a poll vs. a thread, yet there's a lot of discussion going on, too...)
5) "Todd Woodward role call vote" which is more about how the TA got to a vote
The Poll and Todd Woodward threads are probably reasonable spin-offs if they're just the poll and discussion on whether or not it will pass, and discussion on how the TA got to the membership.
But having three other threads active on the contract? I'd rather see one discussion on a given topic in the room at a time... There are already examples of people posting the same responses in multiple threads....
