Southwest already serves nineteen nonstop destinations from STL with 67 departures a day. Coming to think of it, it is more mainline service than American Airlines will offer from STL come November 1.

Well, with all of D opened up and B also, I would think someone would come in. I was watching the news yesterday and some analysts think that AA cutted to deeply into STL. I am biased of course, but I seriously think we can handle more traffic. EWR, DCA, DEN on RJ''s???????? Come on here. Back to the original topic, I think with the gates readily available we''ll see:
NW-DTW up to 7 flights a day
DL-CVG, SLC, ATL, and DFW all with increases in service
FL-Too iffy to call right now, could be a decent competitor in STL when all is said and done
B6-JFK at the worst, probably even more
F9-I seriously dont think we''ll even see them
UA-I think UA will put a few 752''s and 320''s on the route as DEN goes RJ, I also think they will add a daily flight possibly to SFO
CO-Mainline restored back to EWR and IAH, not big tho (733-735)
HP-Maybe add a flight
AC-I think we''ll get Toronto back, but I''m just not sure with what aircraft.
SW-This one is the wildcard to me in the group, I really have no clue what they are thinking at this moment.
Outside shots
AS-Possibly a PDX or SEA service once a day, doubt it though
Virgin America-Also another one up in the air, but with a metro area of 2.6 million and 20 or so fortune 1000 companies, and a OPEN concourse, who knows
Things could get interesting........

I have to imagine US will also increase lift a bit to PHL, PIT, CLT. Might see a return of mainline on PHL-STL as I believe US can add 2 mainline flights but keep the station at express pay rates.
