I was always thinking $55 from the start but now that it hit that I think I will wait until Tuesday when 4Q results are out. Curious on others thoughts.

Hang on to it.. As long as fuel prices stay low, I think it will still go higher..

NYer, is it irrelevant that the share price has almost doubled since the TWU withheld, 5, 10, 14 percent. If and when our shares are returned, will we recognize the added value, or is it the same situation where while the stock goes up, our total shares go down.

That has been my question from the start. Of course I was more concerned with it tanking at first, but since it has doubled, I should recognise the added value. And what about the dividends paid out. Whos doing the oversight, I hope there will be some transparency.

HA, Good luck in ever seeing those shares. We were told at our union meeting today. That it would be 3-5 YEARS before that was returned. Also was told the pre-funding issue is likely going to court.

Litigation has been completed. It is now in the Judges hands...3-5 years for him to make a decision? I don't think so. As for the pre-funding, of course it is, they withdrew there grievance for some reason. Once again, Mr. Militant has bowed his back and shown AA he meant business.

Well, that's not what we were told regarding the equity at 567s meeting today. We were told the 3 outstanding cases had been consolidated into 1, Demetrius I believe is the plaintiff. Once that is settled, assuming we prevail, the stock would be gradually sold off and the distributed to the membership. A process expected to take 3-5 years so as not to disrupt the company stock price. I kid you not this is what we were told. I think its ridiculous and certainly do not agree with it. Easily the most corrupt organization I have ever been associated with.

I was sent this text last week by our local and when I asked the meaning of it I was told it was up to the Judge now. Your guess is as good as mine dvlhog. As far as "disrupting" the company stock price...wow!

Equity Lawsuit:
The equity lawsuit amended compliant proceedings were held today. The court will issue an order with it's ruling at a later date.

Ok I'm not saying that you were told something in regards to 3 to 5 years but that has nothing to do with the equity that is being held by the TWU. What you are likely referring to is the "Disputed Claims Reserve" That is equity that we may recieve as other issues against the company are settled and have heard that could take a few years. That's why you are occasionally seeing the company drop a few shares into your account at times.

17. What is the Disputed Claims Reserve (DCR) distribution? Will previous holders of AAMRQ stock be receiving distributions as part of this process?

Distributions to disputed claims allowed by the court began on June 30th. These distributions will solely be funded from the Disputed Claims Reserve established under the Plan of Reorganization, and which was initially funded with approximately 30.4 million shares. Distributions will be made to those who had a disputed claim that was decided in their favor after December 9th, 2013, as well as eligible company employees. As claims are allowed, stock will be distributed to claimholders with the distributions currently expected to be on a quarterly basis.

In the event any shares held by the Disputed Claims Reserve are not required to satisfy allowed claims in the bankruptcy case, previous holders of AAMRQ will receive the remaining shares. The amount and timing of any such distributions cannot currently be predicted and are not expected to occur in the near term.
Updates on future distributions from the Disputed Claims Reserve will be made as part of the regular quarterly reporting process in the relevant 10-Q or 10-K SEC filing.

If you think about it rationally it doesn't make any sense that the equity reserve held by the Union would hurt the share price in any way shape or form when currently AA has a Market Capitalization of 39.87 Billion dollars. The amount of shares held by the Union wouldn't even cause a tiny ripple in those waters.

Another thing is that the TWU was ordered to divest the AAL shares to retain the value in case the Retirees prevailed in their suit. I haven't heard (Hope Not) if that had been done? Again absolutely hope not!!!

Maybe I should not even go anymore. You can just tell me what I need to hear...clown. No, the chief steward and Larry Pike were specifically asked about the 14% that was stolen from us by the twu. The response as I stated above. Hey thx for playing

Your shares were not stolen from you. And your response actually tells me that you have no clue about doing your own research and even the premise of common sense escapes your particular level of intelligence. What you were supposedly told is wrong but believe what you want.
