I think it is time for all AMFA supporters to get one of these t-shirts and let's see how many good mechanics AA can survive without.

Lawyers are already working on this. I can't wait for depositions to find out who the real rat is that complained about a t-shirt.

If you would read what I responded to local you would understand my post. Let me break it down for you so you can get it. . . . . . .

Dave said, "I think it is time for all AMFA supporters to get one of these t-shirts and let's see how many good mechanics AA can survive without."

The key word there "mechanic". Now, my response was, "What about the welders?????"

My point being. . .
ARE THERE ANY GOOD WELDERS AA CAN SURVIVE WITHOUT????!!!!

Did that clear anything up for you? You guys continue to put your own spin on things when you don't have a clue as to what you are saying!!!!!

Are you saying that welding is not a mechanical skill?

Do you know what you are saying?

Maybe you should put your time to better use mowing the lawn.

I thought that was your natural state of being.

Still no answers though.

You complain when your posts are not answered within minutes yet you fail to respond in months.

Thats OK, because after all you are an example of what the members can expect from the TWU!

Why don't you learn to read your own TWU Contract.

Here is the classification description directly from your TWU negotiated labor agreement. Notice the term "Aviation Maintenance Technician Welder".

I find it most interesting the the TWU Worshippers claim AMFA doesn't want to represent unlicensed mechanics, including welders, machinst, platers, OSM's, ect.

But I get more respect and treated with more dignity from AMFA supporters.

twuer, why does your contract call a welder "AMT" since you don't seem to think that applies to that skill level?

Are you saying that in that so-called 12,000 jobs the TWU claims to have saved, they retained employment for "un-needed" welders? Hmmm, why don't you have that printed in the next "TWU Informer".

If you are claiming I will NOT stand and fight for fear of being replaced, then you obviously have me confused with your fear mongering negotiators and leadership.

I see the divisionary tactics of the twu are alive and well in twuer. Its no surprise alot of machinists feel the way they do about AMFA. The anti AMFA t/shirts they wear seem to be okay with the company but this wouldn't be the case should AMFA supporters wear anti twu shirts.

I think Dan C. has will do just fine on this one.

Keep dreaming! The company came down like a hammer when we dared to wear our beautiful "piss on amfa" shirts! God Forbid we should wear something that demeaned the Association management is dying to bring in here!

I guess the SKOAL and REDMAN chewing tobacco T shirts are the fashion statements of the time!
