The first America West 757 in new US Airways colors!

US Airways / Boeing 757-200 / N909AW / Taxiway Charlie to Runway 8 / September 23rd 2006 / the first America West 757-200 painted in this scheme.

Last Friday (September 22nd) the second HP 757 (callsign AWE7808, reg number is unknown) was flown to Roswell, New Mexico to be painted into the new US Airways colors.

Thanks for posting the photo and I believe 910AW is now at ROW being painted. Does anyone know the status of the Special Scheme 757's as far as repaint? Originally they where to go away then heard they where staying now not really sure, comments ?

910 is in now to be followed by 903,906,905,904,901,908,902
then the non etops will go in this order 913,914,915. all the theme planes are going to the new us airways paint.

909 will be 217UW. You would think that they would have renumbered it with the repainting, but the tail number was not changed. They have to go back and redo that.

Same for 157aw(737-300) it is supposed to become 383aw.
