My wife and I recently interlined on Southwest. We were treated great by everyone from res to gate to inflight.
Just wanted to say thanks.

I guess even a good company like Southwest lets one seep thru the cracks now and then.
I'm still hoping that he is not one of ours. I second what boeingdriver213 said and am glad that you enjoyed the flight.

I am one of the few, the proud, the WNr's, and I am here to stay. Another 18 years before retirement.

Just stating the obvious. Other airline employees are envious of what we have

Funny, when I was a F/A at UA I never had even an inkling of wanting to work for WN.

That's not a slight to WN, but simply a fact of the networks of WN vs. UA and the choice of spending my days doing multiple domestic legs per day on a 737 looking forward to a layover in Amarillo, or doing two legs per week to Europe or Asia and having a nice long layover in CDG or HKG or somewhere.

As screwed up as UA was/is, and as well-managed as WN was/is, had it come down to it, I would have quit rather than do WN-style flying with no hope of anything better.

Different strokes.
