Please send a response to this survey. It has to do with a very important program in development stages.

If you are trying to sell the profession of Aircraft Maintenance to the younger generation dint bother. You would have to be a complete idiot to want a career as an AMT. It is no longer Worth the pay, responsibility or the crazy hours one must deal with. Thanks to the twu and AArogant Airlines.

If you are trying to create a program to recognize the value of a skilled AMT try and sell it to AArogant Airlines or the worthless twu. But then again that would also be a waste of time. In the companies eyes we are overpaid potted plants so I don't think they will give a rats ass what you tell them. And as for the twu well they did the best they could and it was better than bankruptcy.

My question to you is what is the ultimate goal of this program you are trying to develop??? Is it to get people interested in pursuing a career in Aviation?

Thank you for the responses.

First there are "some" people that know my name but the boards are anonymous for other reasons I am sure you are all aware of.

The program is designed to assist in the recognition of skills that those in the industry already have. Many are well aware of the lack of respect that face most A&P's in the industry today. A change is far overdue. The problem is to get some of those that "advise" the industry to understand and appreciate the skills and abilities of an A&P. This is a beginning step.

Thanks again and please fill out an e-mail for the survey as well as pass it along to other aviation maitnenance technicians.
