We over here at CAL are wondering if we are up poop creek without a paddle as we are thinking we are? Afew weeks ago they announced the top dog over Tech ops Airports Ops ,etc was from UAL and yesterday Jeff announced ya'lls Keenan is going to be VP over Tech OPs. We are loosing alot of good CAL tech ops management that rose from the tech ranks and took decient care of us. UAL has a bad rep for labor relations and now they also selected McKeen from UAL for that postion. Sure isn't looking good. CAL's way of treating people is fast disappearing and it looks like we are assuming the bad culture everyone at UAL complains about. Sure would like some techs over a UAL input on this.
It sure looks the boat has developed a hole and a broken paddle and appears to be sinking fast!!!!!

There is a sit cal-ualmechanics.com that is run by mechanics from both airlines. You might want to ask there?

We at the Big U were hoping that most top management would be shown the door. Now we can only
hope that the new team sees why UA employees are so bitter and try to correct the issues. If they continue
to beat down the work force then the new company will fail. I don't see why it has to be a mix of execs.
You look at their perfomance and keep the good ones. The only thing UA execs have been able to achieve
is filling their pockets off the sweat of hard working employees.

See how bitter I am. A good management team can fix that.

If we, SFO mechanics, do not get to keep the work we are doing now, on this next contract, I predict some unhappy campers. :(

The mentality of UA maintenance VP's is to outsource everything possible. With Tilton in the
background I don't see any changes. Without a culture change the merged airline will FAIL.

McKeen is a snake, dont ever turn your back on him, he is ruthless and is a Gerry Glass clone.
