TACA overruns the runway

Just seen on news that a MIA bound plane from LAX crashed in Honduras today, injuring 65 and killing 4 including a pilot. I wish the survivors a quick healthy recovery May God rest those souls who died in the accident. It is believed that the A-320 may have touched down more than half way down the runway and it was wet but I dont know if that would have been a factor

This crash took place at 9:45 am Honduras time (11:45 am EDT).

While the flight originated Los Angeles, it first stopped in San Salvador and was landing at Tegucigalpa en route to its final destination of Miami. I doubt that there were any LAX-MIA pax on board.
