Planning on meeting some friends in St Johns late August. Should I buy some tickets or try and nonrev it?
That is off seasn and Hurrican season, might not be to full? Planning on traveling a Sa to Sa. I noticed this weekend you can get down easy but all flights back are the next saterday are full, is that an anomoly?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

If you really want to do it, buy a ticket.

I don't know if St. John's is an embarkation point for cruises, but that would have a lot of effect on loads year round.

It figures, the wives all got together last night and are now talking about going to the Dominican Republic instead, that looks much more difficult to get to even with a paid ticket, seesh.

AFAIK, none of the U.S. Virgin Islands is an embarkation point for cruise lines. The cruises which begin in the Caribbean (as opposed to Miami or Ft. Lauderdale) sail from San Juan, P.R.--much larger port, facilities, etc. Cruises stop at St. Thomas, St. Croix, and St. John's, but none begin or end there that I know of.
