On top of that base pay, you can add $4.00 for two license $6.00 for three.

Longevity, is $1.00 for ten years of service, $1.15 for eleven, and $1.30 for twelve years of service.

Southwest management understands the importance of good employee relations although they do not always achieve them 100% of the time.

They are now getting another jump on AA and the other mainline carriers by offering an early retirement/employee buyout program.[an employee with 1 year of service is eligible]

This gets rid of some of the highest paid employees and the employees that really do not want to be there.They are still hiring and will be as they increase their fleet size.

This info about the program was posted on yahoo airline news recently this past week.

It was also in yesterdays Kansas City Star newspaper. They are being offered 3 different plans to early retirement. Depending on which they choose, there is cash involved or health benefits or both. All 3 include flight benefits.

But yet AMFA was responsible for the "COMPANY" shut down of ATL Maintenance at NWA? And AMFA was responisble for the "COMPANY" invoked force majuere at NWA?

Well lets see here, AMFA was certified at SWA on January 24th, 2003. AMFA was certified at UAL on July 14th, 2004. You would think, circumstances that happen at SWA would be more AMFA's responsibility than at UAL but, it seems the cultists have a different idea. Maybe they would like to have a chance to explain. We are waiting!!!
