today on a delayed to flt to pit, agt's were forced to book OA, well come to find out pax's luggage were over 50lb limit for OA.
so OA called U cause pax refused to pay...well guess what U payed


if U's baggage limit was 50lbs like the rest of the industry, but no hold out so PAY.

OA made out and once again U is "slammed in the face" cause upper tier hasn't a clue....

I sent this suggestion in to the Employee Suggestion Program last month and got a response back that it was already being worked on, although I dont know what takes so long to follow someone elses wording on switching this. It should be easy enough to put out a release, file some papers if needed and wala, it takes effect starting X date. Is it really that difficult to do? AA agents in TPA have told us they get about $70000 a month in excess thanks to the SJU and MIA flights alone here.

Lets have a good press release/bad press release day.....
Change the excess charges, but also relax the ticketing use rules.......
