Skycaps to file suit against US

There is a job out there for everyone and skycaps have been around probably longer than your years on this earth!
That's a typical union attitude - that something should continue just because it's been that way. A law suit isn't going to change anything. The $2 fee will stick because there's nothing illegal or against any contract rules that says it can't be done. If anything, the skycaps will get a real minimum wage, which probably still won't be as much take home as it was before the fee.

Clint Eastwood's character as Gunnery Sergeant Tom Highway in Heartbreak Ridge said it best. "Adapt, Improvise, Overcome"

Here in Phl we say call the IRS for an audit on hidden cash advantages that are taking away jobs. Hit the company in its wallet and things may be a little different than they are now. 2.00 a bag is a real kick in the face to these employees. Just how do you adapt, improvise and overcome not having an income? Even the passengers checking in curb side feel bad and tip higher, now is that fair? Who is the winner? You got that right, the "sandcastle" and they should be audited or allow the passenger to pay by credit card...no its only CASH and when you see only CASH you know who is making out on this deal.

Maybe what they need is a tip jar like some of the carryout resturants in PHL have now.

For years the SkyCaps made thousands in tips and they never complained about that. I mean a former Station Manager in PHL SkyCapped after he took an early out from US, so you tell me how much money they were making???????????

It will be interesting to see what they claim they are loosing compared to what they were filing on their taxes
