I was just wondering if anyone knew if Delta Connection Shuttle America is reducing flights out of Salt Lake City.

Yes. Shuttle America is moving all of it's E170 flights to the East Coast...primarily ATL and LGA/JFK.

The only remaining E170 flights will be a daily CMH-SLC flight and on Saturdays it will be routed CMH-SLC-MZT.

As backfill, Skywest will be bringing in CRJ900's.

Whoa! How long of a flight is SLC-MZT?

Three hours and ten minutes or 1,259 miles. This flight is actually shorter than the CMH-SLC leg.

The E170 is a pretty comfortable aircraft with first class and a reasonably roomy coach cabin.

It looks like Delta is finalizing their winter schedule, which includes upgrading the current E170 flight from CMH to SLC to an MD-90, effective in mid-December.
