About 30 minutes long...just speaking about general industry performance. Although he did say merger integration had gone "generally well", hmmmm.....take off those rose-colored glasses Scotty. Check out around 12:30 in the speech, he says negotiations are going well andd LCC is willing to move work groups up to the higher of the 2 pay scales, and that's about it. Also blamed FAA for spring break meltdown due to LCC not fully understanding "ice pellet" operating conditions.

well the company is getting way more nationwide press and can relatively spin their story whichever way they want. Its time the UNIONS hit the streets or hold massive press confrences and tell the TRUTH. QUIT sitting back and start throwing blows. One or two protests in PHX dont cut it. Hold a massive press conference in PHL and PHX and get thier attention.

I dont agree on filing DOT complaints because it seems the company doesnt care. However i do believe the unions should act a little bit like congress. after every announcement the company has the union should have one immediately after telling the truth about what the execs are doing, and it should be in the the masses, the company needs to feel pressure from the unions.

Kirby must be about as delusional as Dougie if he really believes things have gone well. He needed to come to DCA in the last week when the lines were hours long mostly because of the inefficiency and inadequacy of Shares. It doesn't let us do our jobs , it interferes with it. And this was supposed to be an "improvement". If this was an improvement what would a downgrade be like? I guess we will be chiseling PNR's into stone tablets next.

It is just selfishness. It went well for THEM. They could care less about your ability to work with the system, or if it is good or not. Just look at the audience that they are speaking to.
It's what it can do for them. Never mind the employees or passengers. They could care less. Apparently.
AW has had a history of being a poor service provider.
DOT stats back that up over the years. They don't care, as long as there is a profit to be had. It is not about you or the passenger, it is about the curs that run the thing.
Kind of like a hospital that didn't care about the death rate, as long as they made money, it was ok.

They keep saying that we will save 100 mil because of the switch to shares. I believe it has probably cost us 200 mil in losses due to misconnex, hotels, fedexing baggage and the like. Any savings that they thought they would have are long gone because of arrogance and ignorance about how customer service really works. Give us back SABRE so we can do our job and get things right again. This ship is sinking and Tempe is oblivious to it.

While I am totally a customer oriented F/A I watch some of the agents practically jumping through flaming rings of fire to get their flights out. I don't know about the workings of the NEW "old" shares system but as long as you "make it happen" management will not do anything to make it better. They will see that though there is complaining it will slowly start to work itself out and the natives will shut up eventually. Keep the flights going and get them out quicker and quicker to keep the $$ rolling in. Well you will continue to be frustrated, overworked and NEVER get any results from upper management. I'd work at a normal pace and if the flight goes out late it's late. Same as talking about baggage handlers etc. If you keep getting the planes loaded understaffed you'll never get more people. Sometimes it can happen and most times it can't. I have stopped trying to make those "moments of magic". I do what I can do. PERIOD.
