O.K. Then why have Southwest 737's been seen in the Virgin Islands? Both on St.Thomas, and on St. Croix?robbedagain said:its most likely the air tran routes I believe fl did them from bwi mco im not sure if there were any more cities but those 2 come to mind
I thought may be atl might be a third city but someone can correct me if im wrong
So where is that information going to come from swamt? The only information I have is from friends on the ground in the V.I. Does Southwest fly into SJU? Or were these Aircraft just going, or coming, from heavy maintenance down in South/Central/ America?swamt said:Hmmmmm, maybe SWA is spreading their wings, stay tuned for more info...
Thank you "e"! That answers my question. If they fly into SJU, they are probably using St. Croix, & St. Thomas, as alternate landing airfields. Which explains sightings.------ Too bad! They would be a welcome addition to the local tourist trade!eolesen said:MCI, you can subscribe to airlineroute.net and get the changes to your inbox quasi-daily, or you can check the following URL

Changes are usually here posted *after* a press release and after the schedules are filed with OAG and the GDS's. The more mundane stuff may not ever warrant a press release, especially market reductions and withdrawals.
