OK, I know that politics is all about lies and deceit. To call a politician a hypocrite and liar is a bit redundant. Call them a politician and we all know what you mean. I understand that Rove published the book for his supporters. What I don't get is how someone who perpetrated the lies against McCain and his adopted child not to mention the lies he perpetuated through out the 8 yrs of Bush's administration has the gall to say anything about anyone else. That islike Manson condemning the BTK guy. Get real.

Same concept.

If you don't like Howard Stern, Don't listen to him. Don't buy his books, rent his movie etc etc.

Well in order to comment on Mr Rove I'd first have to care if he lived or died and since I don't particularly care, I've no interest in his POV.

Today is Friday and I keep noticing that all these poopheads who claim to be for the "little guy" still authorize the IRS's immoral confiscation of my wages.

Take a look at the line that says "Witholding" and ask yourself "Could I better spend that money than the government"?

Carl Rove, Al Franken and the rest are nothing more then fear mongers who's sole purpose is keep the population in fear and therefore impotent to fight back from the tyranny of the IRS, EPA and other freedom robbing government thugs.

How do you propose to fund government functions?

How do you propose to regulate industry and prevent them from dumping contaminants in the water, air and soil?

Whether or not you have an interest in whether or not someone lives or dies does not mean that the person does not have an effect or can affect our lives and the world we live in.

If people are dumb enough to buy into Carl Rove's special line og horseshite then as a society we get what we deserves. Same goes for the far left.

NEVER said the IRS, EPA, etc were illegal as they were authorized by Congress. Now consider the above statement as to why we have our current situation. We buy into the fear mongering and gravitate to our flavor of lies designed to destroy our Republic.

Federal Income tax accounts for just about 1/3rd of Federal Revenue. So to me the solution is simple, spend 1/3rd LESS and then we have no issue.

The IRS, EPA and many other federal agencies operate without meaningful oversite and have near absolute power. Example being the EPS designating an area as wetlands the value of that property maybe be comprimised. The owner of that land IMO has been dienied use and financially damaged which constitutes a "Taking" and if the EPA desires to do so they need to compensate the owner under eminent domain.

Elimination of the Federal Income Tax also gets rid of the closet thing the US government has to the Gestapo. BATF isn't much better, however the IRS is still the hands down abuse of the citizenry winner.

I have said that we have the government we deserve for quite some time. I will continue to speak out against those I find to be a danger to society.

When you say that some entity is 'confiscating' ones wages it implies that you believe the entity is illegal in my opinion.

It's only easy if everyone agrees on the 1/3rd that you want to cut. I say cut defense. Someone else wants to cut social programs. Others want to cut something else. No one would agree to everyone cutting by the same percentage. I suspect that is we were to truly cut the fat and graft we could do it wit out any loss of services. Unfortunately no one is willing to make those cuts because too many people are making a whole lot of money.

The city is redoing the road near my house. I guess it's about 2 miles of road. They have been working on it for over 2 years now. I do not even want to know how much that 2 miles of road costs. It should have been done in 2 months baring weather delays. The military and Congress invest in weapon systems that are colossal wastes and abject failures. NASA spends who knows how much on a toilet seat to go in to space. I know there is no repair man to call if it breaks but it's a bloody toilet seat. The various social agencies have too many chefs and not enough cooks. And of course then there are the idiots who we vote into Congress each time. Unfortunately we don't like to be told the truth. No one wants to be told that you are spending too much on crap you don't need and that you sign a loan on house you could not afford. No one wants to be tod that you do not have the right to tell another person what they can or cannot do in their own home to to their own body. No one wants to be told that just because you do not like another country you do not have the right to restrict their actions.

So sorry but I don't think it is quite that easy.

That's because my furry, feline fanatic we as a society have lost the basic notion that with Freedom and Liberty comes responsibility.

The responsibilty, perhaps the moral obligation to:

Say "NO" to our elected officials whether it be tank or thruway
Point out that if the government wants its citizens to live within their means, they should model that behavior and do likewise
Insist that our Commander and Chief cease and desist with foriegn interventions that consume enormous rescourses and provide us as citizens with little if any additional security
That you cannot defend American Ideals with actions that are Unamerican such as the Patriot Act.

Now back to the confiscation of your wages. In order to work as a W-2 employee in this country you need to fill out a W-4 permitting the Federal Thugs to deduct the Income tax from your earnings. Don't do it? Then you don't work. Morally, ethically AND if your the mob that's called extortion plain and simple.

Morally someone explain to me how the mob coming into your store and saying "you want to stay open and make a living it now costs you $XXXXX per week" versus the Feds saying "Here you want to work, fill out this form, we take 20% off the top the rest is yours otherwise you can't work" Thus my continued calling the Feds Thugs, as that's EXACTLY what they are and we as sheeple allow it to continue. It's wrong period.

I would say good luck getting the middle and lower class to go for it. Most likely they will pay more. As it is now the lower income levels pay very little of the total income tax.

That's the problem....let's put it another way,

National sales tax....that way no matter who, pays into the national coffer. Legal income/illegal income. Everybody spends.........everybody pays equally.
