My coworker almost got run over at a health park/clinic in south Florida by an 80 year old man who drove through the two sliding glass doors and into the lobby to pick up his wife. He came within 3 inches of the receptionist's desk in a Crown Victoria.

This has happened two times in the past three weeks in Tampa. Older people trying to parallel park have hit the gas and plowed into the building. One man actually crashed through the doors and ran over someone inside (luckily he wasnt seriously injured) and the other man didnt make it into the building thanks to the benches that line the walkway in front of the terminal. The baggage service agents are now asking for hazard pay.

Always did try steer clear of any luxo-barge having Florida license plates...heck, if they have Pinellas or Hillsborough county on them I'll do a 180 and flee for cover.......... ;)

that really is scary becuase of all of the security problems, it could happen anywhere if it happened there. what did the security gaurds do to them I wonder. thanks
