Have any Retirees, in my case, "East Pilot", received any info from UHC on 2007 Benefits?? Here it is Dec. 17 and I have no new insurance card! UHC reps do not show me on their records, and the Company has outsourced the Employee Benefits Dept. and they have no clue about Retirees, quote - un-quote! For me this is serious, as I have Dr. appt.'s in early Jan.! Any info??

If I were you, I would e-mail Doug Parker or phone him. Or e-mail Jerry Glass.

The company has let go the Executive VP of Employee Benefits recently, and I would bet management does not have their shitttt together on employee benefits for active let alone retirees.

Better act fast.

Spoke to UHC representative today to confirm coverage. Call 1-888-860-6178.
Also, check out the web site:

log in with username and password if you have one. Otherwise, you can sign up on line.
My benefits are changed quite a bit. My new monthly premium for medical and dental - retiree + spouse is $434.80.
I used to be considered out of area with NO co-pays, now it $25 and $40 in network.
Hope this helps.
If you have any questions, PM me. Bud
