I Need to make some reservations for family to come out here to washington DC area (Dulles AIRPORT AREA)for christmas and i was wondering How soon do I need to make them? i need to make multi city reservations so should I book them this summer for christmas time ? Also, united airline fans, my family members are on the elderly age range so I ask How long is the flight from CA to Washington Dulles from gate to gate ?.

Reservations made 'the sooner' the possible are better than a ‘walk-up’ but if you are trying to confirm that the plane will actually fulfill the task, then you might be better served to ask the ‘Weather Gods’… 😛

‘IF’ everything goes as planned, you will have an uneventful flight experience, but if there is an ‘unexpected’ weather anomaly (which is NORMAL) then all bets are off.

Better purchase ‘vacation’ insurance. 😛
