I know there has been talk of moving the USAirways ticketing and gates next to United at Seattle/Tacoma International Airport. Has this happened?

The last time I was there was this time last year. They were at the far end or the circle and were at the N Gates, at least I think it was the N Gates, could have been the S Gates as I know they moved Airlines around with all the construction.

My mother is travelling on Friday from Sea-tac to Pit and I just wanted to give her a heads up on where to go. Since we are all creaters of habit I wanted her to be prepared for the any changes, she is older, and has a hard time getting around. and for a change is a paying customer!

Thanks for an update. I tried to find this information out on usairways.com but couldn't find it... oh well....

I checked the Sea-Tac website, and US Airways is listed as using the North Satellite terminal, which United uses. The last time I flew to Seattle was 2 years ago, and we flew in and out of the South Satellite.

You can check your Mom's departure gate by going to the Timetable portion of usairways.com. The flights I tested were operating from N11.

Yes, US moved to the North terminal in 2003. Being colocated is nice when making connections to UA in SEA, especially if the inbound US flight is late.

US in SEA moved to the North satelite for departures. We are also the first counter you come to on the ticketing departure level, right next to UA. Is she flying non-rev?

With the summer increase in SEA flights, how does US plan on dealing with just two gates? I remember last year when US used three in the summer we still waited after landing many times, especially in the evenings when the PIT, PHL and CLT flights all happened to arrive at the same time. Can US use one of the UA gates as needed? And is there enough parking space to pull planes off gates to RON? When we arrived on Tuesday, I saw a US A319 and AC A319 sitting off gates for the night, yet the summer schedule really hasn't started yet.
