I wonder about Boeing’s commitment to flight safety, when they have taken people just from a basic aircraft assembler’s course, and made them quality inspectors. Most of these people have never worked on an aircraft before. You would think that quality inspectors should be subject experts, with years of experience. No wonder they are having so many problems with the 787 program!! Hey I stayed in a Holiday Inn Express last night, can I be an inspector. Maybe the new Boeing commercial should say “Quality is just a word”. I question Boeings other aircraft programs! I guess it does not matter until after another plane crashes!! My thought on that is Boeing would blame it’s suppliers!!
