Southwest Airlines Co. has enlisted PMSI to provide retail pharmacy and home delivery services.
No financial details of the deal were released.
"Pharmacy, specialty services utilization and costs were areas Southwest saw opportunities to lower its workers compensation risk while continuing to improve the care and quality of life for our injured employee population," said a Southwest spokesperson in a release.
Tampa-based PMSI supplies products and services for the workers' compensation population. Founded in 1976, the company works with compensation insurance payors, state workers' compensation funds, employers and third-party administrators to handle more than 4 million transactions annually on behalf of injured workers.
