Talked to a pilot yesterday and he said that they heard eagle was rumored to get the A319. IDK how true but ya never know. So if that goes down what would happen to AA? International flights only?

That sounds pretty far fetched to me. Hell, if that was the case US would have already done it........

The future fleet plan has more than just A319's flying domestic routes. So, if this were true I don't see how AA mainline would be solely focused on Intl.

Not gonna happen. AA's term sheet demanded that scope be relaxed to permit AA to outsource anything with fewer than 89 seats. A319s and 73Gs would remain mainline.

AA has proposed paying Eagle-like rates to APA mainline pilots for the A319, which, of course, has angered the pilots.

Like a lot of rumours, no truth behind it.

What basis do you have that because US has not done something would be a reason that AA cannot do it?

The company has not asked or insinuated that they will try to send A319s to Eagle. In fact, the VP/flight has even said as much - "The A319s are mainline aircraft".

They do want pay scale and rules for the 319 that definitely have a regional airline feel to them. Whether or not they get that, only time and a very bloody court battle will decide.

If a vp is talking then he is lying. We at AFW were told alot of good stories.

Because US management were the innovators of screwing over labor. That was one of the few things that they led the industry in. They did just about everything they and Jerry Glass could come up with.

I thought it was my union?
