PHL Seasonal TATL reductions

PHL-BCN is not a surprise; it was reduced every winter until last year IIRC.  PHL-FCO is a surprise, even if only for a month. Does PHL-ZRH usually go off the schedule November-April?

PHL-BCN, PHL-FCO, probably aircraft painting during low season. IMO, PHL-ZRH may not return. It'll be interesting to see what AA does with PHL-DUB if EI decides to start the route (Just Speculation here).

PHL-ZRH has gone back and forth between year-round and seasonal at least once....maybe twice.

PHL-BCN is a surprise.  There was no PHL-BCN service last winter, or any previous winter.  It had always finished the last week of October and resumed in Spring (April?)  This will be the first time US has served BCN all winter.

PHL-FCO usually downsized to a 767 during first quarter of each calendar year.   I wonder if that will continue?

They now have both the seasonal cruise traffic and the year round OW Iberia Feed at Barcelona.
FCO will probably require lie flat business class (OW). So the 762s may be done on that route.

I suppose there might be enough feed at BCN now with the thirdworld alliance to keep the service year round.  Besides, they really need to find something to do with those A330s that aren't going to Brazil aafter October.  I'm sure they'll reinstate the A330 PHL-MCO and CLT-MCO shuttle again this winter.  God forbid that they look around for a transoceanic destination so the airplane can do what it is designed to do.  (SJU doesn't count, either.)

Don't forget the PHX A330 red eye.
