Keep in mind this has no date or time and the link to the US Airways Omnibus hearings is "dead" but it's obvious this thing was scheduled last week. It also could be cancelled. Interesting.

MOD NOTE: THIS RELATES TO THE PRIOR CHAP 11 BANKRUPTCY AND DOES NOT IMPLY THAT A MOTION FOR PROTECTION UNDER CHAPTER 11 OF THE BANKRUPTCY CODE HAS BEEN FILED IN 2004.

Eye that is from the last case. The link is dead.

I have been watching the old case as I have acsess to the court web page.

This is not a new case and I seriousily doubt the same judge would get the case.

As of now no petition has been filed.

Be very, very careful.

The 2002 bankruptcy is still proceeding and omnibus motions are still being heard.

Be very sure that you know what this pertains to or rish very serious consequences.

I hate to say this but I have to agree with ITRADE, this thread needs to be locked and removed as the posting is the old case, not a new one.

The old case is still active, motions being filed all the time.

In fact, docket entries were made as recently as the first week of September:

"Stipulation By US Airways Group, Inc. and Between Stanley Switzer Concerning Proof of Claim No. 4873 filed by Daniel F. Blanks of McGuireWoods LLP on behalf of US Airways Group, Inc.. (Blanks, Daniel) (Entered: 09/02/2004)"

So, again, you need to be very careful.

Maybe the topic title should be changed. But 700UW are you sure this has been up for along period of time? Lastly, why would it be dead? I realize you may not be able to answer this question but it seems to me something is going on...

I am sure and ITRADE can probably attest to that. Like I have said check the link to the omnibus hearings it is dead.

The case is still an active case, there is still are hearings scheduled.

"09/02/2004 5186 Affidavit of Service of Order Continuing Status Hearing with Respect to Unresolved Responses Filed to the Reorganized Debtors' (I) Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, Seventh, Eighth and Final Omnibus Objections to Certain Claims and (II) First Omnibus Objection to Certain Administrative Claims by Logan & Company, Inc. (Re: related document(s) 5172 Order Continuing/Rescheduling/Setting Hearing,,,, ) filed by Sarah Beckett Boehm of McGuireWoods LLP on behalf of US Airways Group, Inc.. (Boehm, Sarah) (Entered: 09/02/2004) "

See the law firm is even the old one, not Arnold and Porter.

Okay they changed the title. But let's watch this page because if that link goes live with new court dates then this topic wasn't so stupid afterall. Let's just see how this day plays out or doesn't....
