Passing of AMT Carl Sawyer

I read today on 565's website that AMT Carl Sawyer passed away. I'm sorry to hear that. I worked with Carl years ago. Anybody at DFW know the cause of his passing.

I read today on 565's website that AMT Carl Sawyer passed away. I'm sorry to hear that. I worked with Carl years ago. Anybody at DFW know the cause of his passing.

At this time, we have very little details of his death. We are all in shock over this because he was finally going to retire after years of suffering from the pain of a back injury. He was a good man and will be missed by all, it was only fitting that the aircraft carrying his body home was pushed back and escorted to the taxiway by over 100 mechanics yesterday.
