Passenger Goes Nuts On Phl-lgw Flight

It was definitely Manchester and he had his own bottle of vodka. He kicked the poor air marshall and cut himself by scratching his nails on his arms. Row8 and row 1 had to be wiped down. He was very aggresive towards the guys on the flight but surprisingly calm when he addressed the women.
Oh what a wonderful life, to be wrestling a crazy blood covered drunk at 39,000 feet at 2 in the morning. Thank you tuff cuffs and thank you Mr. Air Marshall hope you feel better.

Not to pick a fight with a particular work group but it was also revealed that the guy was acting out of control in the boarding area but the supervisor allowed him to get on the flihgt anyway!!

Not knowing all the facts it is not fair to speculate what went on in the gate area. But knowing the chain of comand, the agents checked with the supervisor who checked with the Shift Manager. Makes you wonder how green the Shift Manager was (remember Station Managers had to work in PHL while Shift Managers were hired and trained.)?

Wow, what a head case. Thats what happens to people after watching movies such as "Cujo" and "The Exorcist"

Or listening to Lavman for too long of a time.
I happen to have found Lavman's comments very interesting.
I don't see the purpose of making comments about people who are no longer on these boards when they are not here to defend themselves.

So what happened to LavMan? Was he given a "Time Out"
Check your messages, PB.

All I can say is that any system that squeezes people all the time, employees and passengers alike, eventually pushes marginal cases over the edge.

Witness the post office.

It's certainly too early for those of us who were not directly involved to assess the specific matters in this particular case, but I think it is worth it to keep that overpressure factor in mind as a context we are all operating in the midst of.

I would like to know if a supervisor "helped" by passing the buck to the crew when this joker was clearing wigging out in the gate area. Any more information on that?

P.S. ITRADE, the LAVMAN diss was really unnecessary and uncalled for. From what I can tell (though we disagree on much) you are generally a respectful passenger in spite of how disagreeably you react to LAVMAN! :D

P.P.S. Lavman, I hope things are going okay for you wherever you are.

Just wondering out loud .... was the guy threatened with having his job moved to  Alabama by any chance?
