Parking Spaces

Here's a new one. In most cities managers, shift supervisors, chiefs, and leads park near the terminal while the rest of the rank and file park in remote parking areas. Rumor has it that as a new cost cutting measure all but managers will now be parking in remote parking as a cost saving measure at all stations. Anybody heard anything about this? This appears to me to be one more silly volley from the hill at Crystal City.

Well that's a great idea. If everyone else has to come early to catch the employee bus, so should the supervisors.

In the terminal parking they are only taking up space that is meant for the general public using the airport.

These are the types of silly wastes of money that should have been addressed long ago.

You're probably right. But what the hell, while we're at it, let's get the station managers to park out there too.

Absolutely! Employee parking is for employees. All employees should be parking there. Special treatment in public parking is costly and takes away from the public. Managerial positions are compensated well, they do not need special parking perks as well.

Very true. They should have to park in the "loser lot" just like everyone else!

That's right , the managers should park with the employees also. Let them see , if and when they do show up to work how the pions live.

I wouldn't mind, due to the fact as a CSS on the PM shift the lot is closed(FULL). Only the AM CSS's get the perk in my city. The only problem I have is the busses that are suppose to run every 4 minutes end up being 20-30 minutes and complaints go under the carpet. Now with work-brain one must show up for work an hour before there shift. So be it if they take this away as I use it on Monday and very seldom any other day anyways since the lots always full. The AM CSS's will be pissed as they will have to get up earlier. I have no sympathy as the PM shift must leave even earlier due to traffic on the roads. NO traffic or anything in the am at 4-5am. Take it and give the CSS full premium back. yeah that will happen <_<
